Job Description/Qualifications:
Masters Degree in related field; at least 2 years supervisory experience in hospital or inpatient behavioral health facility. Clinical knowledge and experience in medical records analysis and documentation. Crisis intervention skills necessary in resolving contested medical claims. Knowledge of current laws, rules and regulations related to insurance reimbursement. Previous risk management and HIPAA training and experience required. Must possess excellent critical thinking and leadership skills. Must demonstrate previous experience related to Joint Commission behavioral health regulations and processes for preparing facilities for Joint Commission reviews as well as continual readiness. Excellent communication and leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated budget development and management skills.




Will direct and manage the Medical Records department including transcription, the Utilization Management function and act as facility risk manager and HIPAA compliance officer. Will also oversee performance improvement function and ensure ongoing review and readiness related to JCAHO and State licensure. Also responsible for creating a structure/process for ongoing research and outcome studies for the purpose of improving patient care. Will coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of medical records for quality and appropriateness of patient care and will educate all staff regarding HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Will provide assistance in training clinical/medical staff regarding appropriate medical records documentation. Will serve as point person for all risk related issues and act as liaison with corporate risk management and legal departments. Will participate in executive leadership committee, Safety Committee, Staff Growth and Development Committee and will chair Quality Council as well as the Performance Improvement Committee.

Unit Therapist/Float - FT

Job Description/Qualifications:
Master’s Degree and 4 years post-degree experience in a Behavioral Health setting, including CD, Trauma, Mood, etc. Ability to facilitate individual and group therapies in various group environments. Knowledge of Family Systems and the 12-Steps. AZ licensed or eligible.

EMDR Therapist - FULL TIME & PRN/on call (Include weekend hours)

Job Description/Qualifications:
Master’s degree required, must have completed EMDRIA approved Basic EMDR training; prefer therapist eligible for EMDRIA certification. AZ licensed to work in-patient with dually diagnosed patients. Will participate on interdisciplinary team. Prefer exp working w/adults w/childhood abuse plus adult traumas.

Will provide EMDR services to dually diagnosed patients in an in-patient environment. This is an on-call position, so hours of work will vary and may include evenings and weekends.

RN &/OR LPN -FT & PRN - all shifts

Job Description/Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Experience in chemical dependency and mental health preferred. 2+years experience preferred. AZ licensed and currently registered as a LPN.

Provides nursing care to assigned patients through the nursing process; participates as an active member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team.
